01

How does a Pick work?

Read a positive question and choose the friend it reminds you of. Your choice becomes a compliment in that friend’s Pick Box. Open your own Pick Box to see compliments friends send you.

If your friend has not joined yet, delivery works differently.

Picks for someone who has not joined

02

What if my friend is not on Peek yet?

A Pick for someone who has not joined is kept for up to 30 days together with an encrypted reference to that contact. It is not delivered immediately.

  1. Your friend needs to join Peek and verify the phone number you have for them.
  2. Once they do, the Pick is delivered to their Pick Box.

If they do not join within 30 days, the Pick expires and the reference is removed. A block or an unavailable receiving account can also prevent delivery.

03

Does choosing a friend send them a text?

Not by itself. Choosing a friend and sending an invitation are separate actions. To invite someone, you can send the invitation from your own phone, or ask Peek to send it for you. A text sent by Peek comes from Peek’s number, names you as the sender, and can be stopped by replying STOP.

An invitation does not deliver a pending Pick or create an account for its recipient.

04

What needs school verification?

School polls and the school friend list require verification in the current app. Selecting a school is not enough. Use an approved school email, or a student ID where supported, and renew every 180 days. Grade is self-reported. A student ID photo is stored encrypted for up to 14 days for review and then deleted.

School verification and your information

05

Can I find out who picked me?

Sometimes. Hints can provide information about a sender, and eligible reveal features may identify them. Availability depends on the Pick, your account, and the feature shown in the app.

Some features use earned Stars or require a purchase. Do not assume a Pick will always keep its sender’s identity hidden.

06

Is Peek free? What are PASS, Premium, and VIP?

Peek is free to download and use. PASS, Premium, and VIP are optional weekly subscriptions that add reveals, special picks, and more picks. Included benefits, reveal limits, and prices can vary by platform and offer. Members without a subscription see a small banner ad on their profile screen.

Before confirming any purchase, check its price, what it unlocks, its limits, and that it renews weekly. The purchase screen shows the offer available to you.

07

How do I manage or cancel a purchase?

Use the store where you made the purchase, even if you now use a different phone. On iPhone: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. On Android: the Play Store app, then your profile, then Payments & subscriptions.

Deleting Peek or your account does not cancel a store subscription. For billing or refund questions, use the purchasing store’s support or contact Peek with your receipt details. Never send your password or full payment-card number.

08

Can I chat with friends?

Yes. You can chat by real name with people you follow, one to one or in small groups. If the other person does not follow you back, the chat starts as a request they can ignore. Messages are checked by automated review after they are sent, and blocking someone stops new messages both ways.

09

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and choose Delete Account. Your account is deactivated right away and permanently deleted after 5 days. Signing in during those 5 days restores it.
