SAFETY ON PEEK

Your choices. Our responsibilities.

Understand how reporting, blocking, content review, privacy, and community rules each work on Peek.

REPORT

Ask the team to review something.

  1. To report an account, open its profile and tap the three-dot menu, then choose Report User.
  2. To report a received Pick, open its detail screen and choose Report Pick.
  3. Select the reason and follow the prompts to submit your report.

Reporting a received Pick hides it from your view. This does not mean it has been removed for everyone or that a human review is complete. If you are offered a block option after reporting, that is a separate choice.

If you cannot report in the app, email contact@dyvestudios.com with the username or link and a short description. Share only what is needed to understand the concern.

BLOCK

Create distance from another account.

Open the person’s profile, tap the three-dot menu, and choose Block User. Blocking removes friend connections and pending requests between the accounts and restricts profile access and matching between them.

Blocking also stops new chat messages in both directions. Unblocking does not automatically restore the earlier connection. Blocking is not a promise that every past record is erased, and it does not submit a report.

You can report, block, or do both. If an interaction continues through another route, save the relevant details and contact support.

CONTENT REVIEW

Different content has different checks.

Screening happens in three stages. Before publishing, questions and photos submitted by members are screened automatically. After sending, chat messages are checked automatically and hidden if they break the rules. After a report, a person at Peek looks at it.

Reports give the team another way to examine content after it is visible. An initial review is the first assessment of a concern. Resolution may require more investigation and can take longer. Reporting does not guarantee removal or a particular account action.

Review and resolution times vary. If your concern continues, contact support with the relevant username or link.

PRIVACY & CONTACTS

Know what you share and why.

Contact access is optional. By default, address-book names and original phone numbers stay on your device, and only short fragments of scrambled numbers are sent to Peek for matching. Some versions ask for separate agreement before uploading encrypted names and numbers, kept for up to 30 days. Declining access changes contact-based features; it does not erase earlier uploads or make your account undiscoverable through other routes.

Members can chat by real name with friends they follow. Messages are checked automatically after they are sent, and any chat can be reported.

For details about collection, use, retention, and requests, read the current Privacy information.

COMMUNITY RULES

Keep compliments kind and respectful.

Bullying, harassment, threats, sexual content, hateful attacks, impersonation, sharing private information, spam, and fake accounts are not allowed. Do not post someone else's image or personal information without permission.

No app can prevent every harmful interaction. If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted adult first, then let us know.
